About Credit Hour system, it's a study system used in USA, and it consist of a number of hours and marks lets say that subject 'A' have 20 hour of study and 100 as a full mark so it's calculated as
40% as a final Exam
and 60% as year action and I'm going to explain year action below.
and the student have to get at least 50% to pass this subject. other wise he will fail in it.
and about the credit hours the 60% divided as
20% Mid term exam (examination in the middle of the semester)
and 40% is the attendence, and the exercises passed.
and the credit hour system is playing a vital role in the attendence because if the student lectures absence exceeded 25% of the total hours he won't be able to attend the final exam and won't get 40% of the mark and of cource he will lose the other 40% consists of attendence, and the exercises, so he will lose 80% from the subject total marks then he will fail in this subject.
