You mean about boys, and girls in the same school and in the same class, yes we have some schools that have that common education, for example we have a group of schools calld 'Al Orman' schools, and 'The Future schools' this schools is a private schools I mean to say that the student have to pay some fees to the school to apply to it, and in the public education,,, yes, boys and girls are seperated from each other.
and about higher education we can say that its free as primary, preparatory, secondary education but students have to pay alittle fees and it's about 20$ a year, it's almost nothing, and also there are a number of Private Universities and it cost the student number of fees according to the study he is appling to, for example 6th of October Academy it's a private academy and if student want to apply to Engineering faculity he will have to pay 7,000 Egyptian Pound a year to study in there combaring with Cairo Uni, or Ain Shams Uni. He will pay just 500 Egyptian Pound a year, see the diference now :).
and school year usually starts about 15th, to 20th of September every year, and it's consists of 2 semesters the first one starts in Sep, and ends in the first February, and the second Semester starts on about 15th, 20th, of February and ends in the end the first days of July.
